Guest guest Posted June 12, 2004 Report Share Posted June 12, 2004 Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 10 JUN 2004 Swami came at 7:30 a.m. in the red Golf Car and got down near the front of the lobby and picked up a family for interview and went inside the interview room straightaway at 7:40 a.m. Bhajans were held as usual from 9:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. Swami then left for Poornachandra Hall. In the afternoon, Swami came at 3:45 p.m., got down near the entrance to the Bhajan Hall and came to the lobby and sat on the sofa. Veda chanting continued till 4:00 p.m. Then the students gave a presentation on "Dharma" till 4:30 p.m. Swami then asked the Vice Chancellor to speak. He spoke till 4:50 p.m. He spoke on the new thrust being given for Dharma in the syllabus of the university in all levels. After the conclusion of his speech at 4:50 p.m., Swami got up and asked mangala Aarathi to be performed and left for Poornachandra Hall. He asked the Veda Chanting group to get back to their work at 7:45 a.m., and got into the Golf Cart and left through the front of the mandir. After going around the Poornachandra Hall, He came again to the Sai Kulwant hall and asked Sri C.Srinivas of Bangalore Hospital to get into the cart and left in the direction of Poornachandra Hall. He made a tour of the ashram on the golf cart driving through the North Blocks, Gayathri Temple and turned near Shanthi Bhavan and went Back to Poornachandra Hall. Excellent Darshan for many many devotees!
