Guest guest
Sai Ram All,Please could anyone explain about eating of eggs, as there is a lot of confusion about whether they are also non - vegetarian.....especially if they are not fertilised. Although I am now fully vegetarian, further clarity on this will help to answer others' questions. Guest guest
About eggs. It is probabably a Shakuntala Balus' book - were are devotee couple from USA are permitted to do eggs. This permission came after Swami told them to stop all meats and eggs, which had them worried as to what they will eat. So next day, Swami clarifies that they can do eggs - the infertile ones. These - infertile - eggs do not hatch when placed under a hen. So these are like vegetable - they have prana but no pain in them. In India too these infertile eggs were promoted as Ram Laddu, but an egg is an egg is an egg - which did not find appeal with the masses. I wonder if these are available anymore. So till you are certain - refrain from any egg. But, practically, things like cakes and pasteries - these also have eggs - we do not know which one - so offer to Bhagwan - whatever you intake into the Body offer it first to Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai - for it is only prayer that is a practical answer to cleansing our intake. Guest guest
Sai Ram Does Sai Baba ever speak of carnivorous animals? I've often wondered about the explanation since spirit is in all creatures and yet they hunt and tear each other for food. It is difficult to see a house or barn cat carry it's meal and even sometimes deliver it as a gift.
