I used to eat non veg regularly.. I used to go to Shirdi often where various

opinions about whether Saibaba had asked us to be a veggie. Many of us would

cite Saibaba eating fish with other people as mentioned in the Sai Satcharitra.

 

I stopped eating non veg in 2002 after watching Lingodbhava in 2002 (1st time at

parthi). There is a book called Handbook for the Practising Devotee published by

the Sathya Sai Centre of Sri Lanka which mentions Swami's views on vegetarism.

 

JP is absolutely right when he says meats change the way you behave/think as

well.There is a major change in the mental outlook ; however it takes a bit of

time.
