Guest guest
Sai Ram, I am now 66 years old. For the past 14 years I fast during the entire daytime of Thursday. That is, I have my dinner on the previous night (Wednesday), and then break my fast by 6 p.m. and on some days by 5 p.m. on the next evening that is on Thursday evening. Thus this fast may be for 21 or 22 hours only. By fasting I mean, no solid food, no rice or cereals or vegetables or fruit etc. I do have morning and evening coffee, and in the afternoon some buttermilk. I do not feel hungry during the entire day. Earlier I used to avoid medicinal tablets also during the fast, but nowadays I take a tablet for my HT. On some rare Thursdays, if I am in say Parthi and Swamy distributes Prasad, I try to keep it till the evening. But if I forced to take some prasaad on a Thursday, then I compensate by fasting on the next day. This happened last week when I was in Brindavan on 8th April. Please let me know about the things that i can eat and which i cannot. And I would also like to know if it is ok to have rice or not. > I'll be looking forward to hear soon from someone, > Thanks > SAi Ram! > > Arnav
