Guest guest
Dear Brothers and sisters, What you see above is Swami in Rangoli. Those of you who are unable to view it, can see it at http://www.manavseva.com/rangoli.jpg Today i visited Brindavan yet again. It is absolutely scorching and yet devotees are turning up in large numbers hoping that Swami would have arrived. It is sad to see the disappointment on their face. However they are happy to look around the newly constructed platform encompassing Goddess Saraswathy, sit in the shade for some time, and visit Mandir, Book Center and the Store. There is an appreciable increase in the international devotees visiting Brindavan. Most of them after finding out that Baba is in Parthi are moving to Parthi. I went and personally enquired about the announcement made regarding registering our email address with the Books and Publications Information center, as previously announced in this group. I am given to understand that lots of devotees have registered their names already and the process to send them the BOOKS and Publications Catalogue is under way. So those who are keen on receiving the Books and Publications Catalogue, may wish to send an email to srisathyasaisociety (AT) (DOT) co.in or srisathyasaisociety (AT) lovelyindia (DOT) com and register their names. I was also told that this would help the Asram authorities to keep the devotees posted of release of new books and CD-ROMs, Video and Audio casettes and VCDs. Most of you must be already aware of the Book written by the Warden of Sri Sathyasai Hostel at Brindavan, Sri BN Narasimha Murthy. Currently this is one of the top seller. One of the seva dal told me that Swami has promised to stay longer this time in Brindavan. Ofcourse nothing of Swami's news is confirmed unless one is listening to it himself or herself, but the statement makes everyone happy at Brindavan. I visited the store to give details of orders for CD-ROM received from the www.manavseva.com/ website, so that the Asram authorities can directly forward the same to devotees. At the store, I gathered that Chinna Katha Vol I and Vol II are becoming a hit, along with the set of CD-ROMs "My Life - My Message", "The Quest" and the "Games". Details on these CD-ROMs and how they are useful to humanity are already posted at http://www.manavseva.com/mylife.html" Ofcourse there are whole lot of new items at the store awaiting the pleasure of the devotees. From huge wall canvas of Swami to Gayatri chanting Clocks, and other attractive items. I was pleasantly surprised to find eggless cakes, spreads and the like neatly stacked in the store. While I was having a cup of Coffee at the shop inside Brindavan, I personally met a Professor who told me how he lost both his eyes in an acid incident in the Chemistry Lab and he told me how Swami cured him just with Vibhuthi. It was not only heart rendering, but such miracles one has to listen in person. I was really lucky to meet the professor. The second gate to provide exit for gents only at the Brindavan Campus has since been completed and so too a new cloak room. Now I understand that they are trying to set up a coffee shop separately from that of the existing coffee and snacks shop. Beautiful lillies and lotus greet all devotees, at the pond located between the store and the book shop. I am told that a devotee by name "Frank" was managing this garden activity, as a voluntary service. However he merged in Swami very recently, is what I am told. Well that is it. Next news item soon. with sai pranams.
