Know SAI thru an exposition

As the sculptor reveals the beautiful figure from within the boulder,

you too should cast off impediments that conceal the divinity inside.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba

SAI means Spirituality, Adoration and Illumination. If you want to know

about Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Tamilnadu, and their activities,

everybody should visit the Sri Sathya Sai Darshan, a digital exhibition,

organised by the organisation at Rukmani Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher

Secondary School in Chennai. The exhibition is divided into four

sections and the first one deals with the advent of the avatar, His early life,

mythology of the place Puttaparthi, His leelas and mahimas. In the section,

Advent of His avatar , you will know how Sai Baba was born, to whom and where.

It is said that during His birth, sweet musical tones emanated from string and

percussion instruments spontaneously to charm the divine baby in mother

Eswaramma's womb. The section also presents the prophecies of

Aurobindo, Shirdi Sai Baba and the old Vedic scriptures which endorse the view

that His avatar would bring many good things to the country. In the

mythology part explaining how Puttaparthi in Anantapur district of Andhra

Pradesh came to be known is also explained. It was once called as

Puttavardhini, then Valmikipura and now Puttaparthi meaning a village where ant

hills thrived. The second section deals with birth and growth of the

organisation, Sai Education and Service activities and others. Sri

Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospitals, Sai Seva in Tamilnadu, Festivals in

Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi and the activities like Nagara Sangeerthan,

Narayanaseva, Gramaseva taken up by them are given in detail. The exhibition

also features pictures of the activities of the sevadals. The

exhibition will be organised in all places in the city and throughout the

State. It will be on till this evening. The timings are from 9.30 a.m.
