Events at Prashanthi Nilayam10 FEB 2004Morning Darshan was at 7:10 a.m.

Swami came in the afternoon at 3:15 p.m. He came to the lobby and sat down.

After about 45 minutes of Veda Chanting, He permitted the 10th class and 12th

class students to present their program. The program was devotional singing

interspaced by short speeches in various languages by different students. The

program was nice and ended with Mangala Aarathi at 5:15 p.m. Swami sat through

almost two hours and it was a treat for all the devotees assembled to have had

His Darshan for almost two hours uninterrupted!

11 FEB 2004Morning Darshan was at 7:15 a.m. Puttaparthi was getting ready for

Sri Vajpayee’s visit. You could see a lot of security activities in connection

with the visit.

In the afternoon, swami cam at 3:35 p.m. and after listening to the Vedas till

4:10 p.m., He went back to Poornachandra hall and again came back at 4:35 p.m.

Bhajans started at 4:45 p.m. Sri Vajpayee came at 5:15 p.m. to Sai Kulwant

Hall. Bhajans were held till 5:30 p.m. and after the Bhajans, swami took Sri

Vajpayee to the interview room. Sri Vajpayee left at 5:55 p.m. to the guest

house and swami left at 6:00 p.m. Sri Vajpayee is staying overnight at the VIP

Guest House.

12 FEB 2004Swami came to Sai Kulwant hall at 6:45 a.m. and after listening to

the Veda Chants for about 10 minutes, went back to Poornachandra hall.Sri

Vajpayee came at 7:10 a.m. As he entered from the western gate (through which

Swami usually comes), and started walking towards the mandir, Swami came again

in maruthi car. Sri Vajpayee had interview with swami for almost an hour and he

left at 8:00 a.m.Bhajans were held from 8.45 am to 9.15 am.
