Guest guest
PM meets Sai Baba in Andhra Pradesh Press Trust of IndiaPuttaparthi (AP), February 11 Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Wednesday had a one-to-one audience with spiritual leader Sai Baba at his abode in Puttaparthi after arrival on a two-day visit amidst unprecedented security in this Naxalite violence-hit Ananthpur district. Vajpayee was closeted with Sai Baba for about 15 minutes at "Green Room", the interview hall of Baba at his abode Prashanti Nilayam, official sources said. The Prime Minister also spent five minutes at the "Bhajan Hall". Vajpayee who came in an Indian Air Force aircraft, drove straight from the airport to Prashanti Nilayam where he would stay overnight. The Prime Minister's convoy route from the airport to Prashanti Nilayam had been "sterilised" by bomb disposal squads drawn from Kurnool and Chitoor districts with a round-the-clock patrol on as part of tightened security in view of stepped up violence by People's War Group in Ananthpur district. The Prime Minister will leave for Delhi on Thursday morning. Finance: Get your refund fast by filing online
