Guest guest
Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters, A while ago, after reading about Sai Radio broadcasts being available through internet web streaming, I had tried receiving the broadcasts with previously downloaded Windows Media Player but nothing seemed to work so I put the idea aside. Sunday, I finally decided to try again but this time I downloaded WinAmp (I didn't want to use RealPlayer as it downloads a file and then plays it, rather than streaming it, and this can cause serious problems). I then went to: http://www.radiosai.org/Pages/Bulletin.htm and towards the bottom of the page it read: "If you have WinAmp or equivalent, click here to listen now." I clicked the "here" and within a few seconds of time, I was thrilled to be listening to a Sai Radio broadcast! To find the schedule of broadcasts, all I did was "Click here to see today's playlist" which also appeared at the bottom of the page. When the playlist came up, at the top under "Choose Times...", I clicked my time zone and then I clicked "View". The schedule then readjusted itself to my time zone. Hopefully, this year, on Shivarathri, we'll be able to hear, live, what is going on in Prashantinilayam! Wishing you success in locating the Sai Global Radio Harmony broadcasts. I'm certain you'll agree this is a great gift from our Lord! Love, Terry
Guest guest
Sai Ram, I have been able to browse radiosai, web streaming and listen to jaya gurudeva prabhu gurudeva, today. I used winamp, and also windows media player. Could listen using either of them, though I felt more comfortable with Windows Media Player. Can anyone suggest how to listen to the bhajan and also record/download the same simultaneously. Better still, can we preview the song/video clip from the playlist and then download it for hearing/viewing. In our area, the bandwidth is very poor, and downloading can be slow. I also have Real player, but it does not work well for streaming mp3. Regards R. Sathyanarain, Chittoor Sai Ram and regards, R. Guest guest
Om Sri Sairam Brother Terry: Thank you kindly for your detailed description of listening to the web streaming. This is an auspicious blessing of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and the sevaks at Radio Sai. I was missing the action to listen, click 'here' on Radio Sai bulletin page. Just now listening to the start of Bhagavan's Divine Discourse, 16th July, Gurupoornima. 1:45 p.m. Pacific Time. It is working fine coming through very very clearly on Real Player. Guest guest
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">Sairam, you can record and play audio from Radiosai simultaneously if you get the software call RipCast. I use it everyday and record and burn Bhajans, interviews, etc on a CD. It is free of chare. It says it has a limitation of 30 MB but, the limitation never works. For example A 1 hr Bhajan program would take 7-10 MB. So, unless you are recording a 3-4 hr long program, it shouldn’t be a problem. You can download the software here: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">http://download.com.com/3000-2168-10199887.html?tag=lst-0-1 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">You have to put in the server address to start recording. Mail me back if you have any questions, Sairam! color:windowtext"> anursn (AT) sancharnet (DOT) in [anursn (AT) sancharnet (DOT) in] Tuesday, February 10, 2004 1:19 PM saibabanews [saibabanews] Re: Sai Global Harmony Radio - My Experience Sai Ram, I have been able to browse radiosai, web streaming and listen to jaya gurudeva prabhu gurudeva, today.
