SYAN Service Opportunities

Sai Ram Dear Sisters and Brothers, We have the below listed service

opportunities on the SYAN team. If you feel you can serve in any of the

following capacities or participate on SYAN, please feel free to write to

contact (AT) syan (DOT) org. Jai Sai Ram! Public Relations Team Members (1-2) The ideal

candidate will have strong English verbal and writing skills. Public relations

team members contact authors when article edits need to be made and help

respond to general SYAN inquiries. Average monthly time commitment is 2-3

hours. Reporting Team Member (1) The ideal candidate will have writing

experience as a “reporter” at conferences, school newspapers, or

professionally. Since the reporting team members help report on local Sai

activities, he/she should be an active member within a USA Region.

Average monthly time commitment is 3-4 hours. Web Design Team Member (1) The

ideal candidate will have intermediate level web design skills. Knowledge of

Dreamweaver and Flash is helpful, but not required. Average monthly time

commitment is 2-3 hours.

Om Sri Sai Ram!

As young adults and Young Adult groups, we face similar challenges. Some of

these include group dynamics, motivation, and applying His teachings in a

"western" society. This year our Spring 2004 issue will focus on sharing ways

that groups and/or individuals have overcome these challenges. The goal is to

make the issue a practical guide and allow young adults to share what has

worked.Please send in your submissions by Feb 2, 2004 for consideration in the

next issue. As usual we welcome photographs, artwork, reports and stories of

individual service and other activities from Sai youth. Please write to

contact (AT) syan (DOT) org, or the mailing address found on page two. For SYAN writing

website.

We would like to extend a special invitation to our sisters and brothers in

other countries to submit their articles in keeping with our growing

international audience.
