MY SAI EXPERIENCE

OM SAI RAM.

 

Here are my experiences. Please do share your experiences also with me. I wanted

to develop a spiritual satsang through different sai devotees.

 

A brief introduction about myself:

My name is Murali Krishnamurthy. Born and raised in Chennai(Madras). Now I am a

software engineer, working in the USA. I am married and blessed with a son,

Shri. Vishnu. My wife's name is Smt. Sharmila.

My first experience:

August 2003

It all started through a divine presence I believe, It must be Bhagavan Baba. I

was in Albany, New York state for a while before finally settled down in

Maryland state in USA. One day in the evening after work, i visited the Albany

Hindu temple. It was around 6:00PM. I was very hungry from 4:00PM onwards and

by the time i reached the temple it was 6pm. My friend drove me to the temple,

since i lived in Maryland with my family and left my car here in Maryland.

After darshan of all dieties and archana for Lord Hanuman ( I am a staunch

devotee of Ganesha and Hanuman), i was sitting before the dieties thinking of

my future, my family and the hardships i am going through. The hunger became

like a monster and was eating my intestine. I started praying and said ' God,

this is your temple. I am starving'. And after 15 minutes we were ready to

leave. Then the gurukkal ( priest) called me and asked me to take theertham (

holy water). I did. Then i turned and began to walk away. Again the

gurukal called me. I was surprised. I was thinking why he needs to call me.

Gurukkal called me back and gave me two bananas and said eat. I couldn't

believe myself. God listened to me. This might be a small incident, but somehow

this led me to Bhagvan Sai Baba and made me think that God is omnipresent,

omniscient and omnipotent.

Without anybody's interference I started reading more about Sai Baba and once

upon a time I was a non-believer myself. Then one day i wrote a letter to

Bhagvan Sai baba himself to Prasanthi Nilayam explaining my concerns and

hardships in life. He knows everything. One of my friend who just returned from

India, had visited Parthi. He gave me a Photo of Bhagvan Sathya Sai baba and

some vibuthi. Currently nobody in my family believes in Baba. I am just

developing a deep devotion for Baba within myself and one day in the night

before going to bed I applied vibuthi on my forehead. Probably early in the

morning i had a dream. The dream was:

"Baba was on his usual darshan rounds. I was there in the darshan line seated.

He came near me and looked at me. I got up and he was saying something and

turned around. And the next moment I saw Baba coming towards me ( as if he lost

balance)his back facing me. He bumped on my chest and i was perplexed. He turned

around and advised me. Then the next moment I was sitting and feeding yoghurt

rice to baba and he was tasting it, with grace. Then with his index and middle

finger he firmly touched my wrist as if shaking my hands and smiled at me."

That was the end of the dream.

In my life i wanted to do seva to people in many ways. But i dont have the

resources or I am not in the right place now. I have my own IT consulting

company, but i am trying to be successful. I need to be successful so that i

can utilize my resources and finance to help many people in India. Now i feel I

should leave everything to Bhagvan baba and carry on with my life. Hope he

showers his love and shows me the right path so that I can be of some use to

fellow human beings. Did Bhagvann Sri Sathya Sai Baba led me to himself?

I prayed to Bhagvan Sai Baba to cure my father-in-law who just suffered a severe

stroke and was paralyzed on his left side. I dont want anything to myself, I am

not greedy nor money minded. I wanted everybody and every single human to be

happy and lead a very good life.

II

I wanted to share some more experiences I had just recently until yesterday

(11/16/03). One day in the evening I was in the kitchen drinking some water and

everybody else in the living room. Shri.Vishnu (our son) just came inside the

kitchen and asked me to lift him up as usual. I did. Then holding him high i

showed him the photo of Sathya sai baba in the mandir we have on the wall. Then

i asked him what is it? Vishnu immediately replied 'OM'. I was astonished.

Since there was a disagreement in the house I removed the photo from the altar

and started praying and asking for his forgiveness to Baba saying that how I

can worship him. I was talking to Smt.Sharmila (wife) and she said she likes

Shirdi Baba. I did not have a photo of him. I prayed and prayed. Just yesterday

11/16/03 I was cleaning up the basement, since we are replacing the carpet and

in the closet down below I found a card kind of thing. I took it and it read,

'Sai Prasad'. I turned the card and lo! It was a Shirdi Sai baba photograph

distributed by a sweet shop. See what a miracle! He knows. Now he adorns the

mandir altar.

time I went there, that boy materialises alingum and gave it to me.  I was

shocked and then irealise that Baba has heard my voice.  Why Lingum? Because I

don't pray any murthi, but Ipractice reiki and magnified healing and I

firmlybelieve in crystals healing and god energy. A lingumrepresents god

eternal energy and it means onenesswith god.  Then I realised that I have been

blessed byswami.  A lingum can be used for healing just likecrystals.  It was

the most wonderful gift of my life.Since then, so many things happenned in my

life andBaba is always here to bless me and protect me.  Ihave read a lot about

him and his principles of life. I feel very happy to know Baba.  I have never

met

himbut one day I intend to go to India to get hisdarshan.Even when I practice my

reiki and magnified healing, ialways ask Baba to guide me and help me.Today I am

very happy to share my part of experienceas a Devotee of Baba.May Baba blessSai
