Sai Ram and a Very Happy New Year to All Sai Brethren,

 

As part of the 3 year 80th Birthday Celebration Program of the Samithis in A.P,

our Samithi at Chittoor, A.P has organised the following:

 

Dec 2003. 20th Dec. Ananda Jyoti Program at local Senior Secondary School.

There was a photo exhibition of charts and photos of Bhagawan depicting his

life history, photos of most of the miracles of Swami from 1940 onwards, along

with old newspaper clippings, photos of the lingodbhavams and manifestations

of vibuthi, kumkum and other articles at various devotees places etc, and some

old photos of Bala Sai. After the exhibition games and quiz on Sai etc were

conducted for the children and prizes distributed.

 

Dec 26th 2003. Every month, on 19th, the ladies of the Samithi organise

Sathya Sai Vratha Kalpamu, a puja for Swamy as detailed by Pedda Bottu Amma.

Apart from this, the Sai Vratha Kalpamu is also organised at a Public Place or

temple for the benefit of non-devotees. A public Vratha Kalpamu on these

lines was conducted on 26-12-03 at Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple, Ponniammkoil St.,

Chittoor.

 

Jan 11, 2004. We have planned to conduct the Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Photo

exhibiton for the benefit of the public. This exhibition, to be held at the

Sathya Sai Mandir, Chittoor, will feature charts and photos of Bhagawan

depicting his life history, photos of most of the miracles of Swami from 1940

etc, and some old photos of Bala Sai.

 

Jan 31st. Mahatma Gandhi Remembrance Day and also the World HD Day.

 

On this day we plan to provide footwear to 45 persons who have been afflicted

with Hansen's Disease. Pray Bhagawan to give them strength and solace.

 

May I request devotees to let us know what are the other special seva/puja

activities taken up by their centres in connection with the 80th Birthday

Celebration.
