Sri Satya Saibaba has said that truth is the epitome of the universe and except it everything is perishable. He, however, expressed concern that the present generation is neglecting it. The man is lacking purity and unity, he observed. In his 90-minute discourse on the occasion of Guru Pournami in the sprawling Sai Kulwanth Hall in Prashati Nilayam here today, Saibaba said the universe was the creation of the almighty. It was not physical but a combination of the `panchendriyas' of the God. The God had created and maintaining the universe and the almighty was the sole control of it. `Satchintana' and `adhyatmikata' were also created by the God so that the humans would remember and pray him. Truth was permanent and everybody should strive for it, Saibaba said. One should have resolve and pure commitment towards his/her goals of life, then only he could achieve them, Saibaba observed. The auditorium was jam-packed for the first discourse of Saibaba for the last four months. Saibaba dwelt at length about the operation he underwent at the Satya Sai Super Specialities Hospital at the Whitefield in Bangalore on his hip muscles. He said he could have used his heavenly powers to heal the illness but he was always against its use for my selfish needs. Instead he would use such powers for the welfare of the mankind. In his 30-minute narration of his time in the hospital, Saibaba wishes of the millions of people across the globe had made the fast healing possible. He had received countless e-mails, letters and greetings from all over the world wishing him fast recovery. He showered praises on Dilip Ray and Satyajit, the staff of Satya Sai Central Trust, who had served him tirelessly round the clock when he was in the hospital. He also had compliments and blessings for the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee women's wing president, J. Geeta Reddy, who, he said, enquired about his health condition at the entrance of the hospital itself though she was not allowed inside. Saibaba also complimented Hindulal M. Shah, an industrialist, for setting up Satya Sai Dharmakshetram in Mumbai against all odds. The Union Minister of State for Home, I.D. Swamy, senior IPS officers H.J. Dora and V. Appa Rao, and others were present on the occasion. __________ Sai Baba in the Media: http://www.saibabalinks.org/saibabainthemedia.htm
