Namah Shivaya Ananthashree,

I have also been experiencing these same symptoms, including excruciating

pain, lack of ability to find words, seeing flashing colored lights, seeing the

floor and carpet dissolve as if not solid, crying at the pain of strangers,

headaches, nausea and more. All of which came after a two month period of 6

hour a day prayers and homas, and an extreme longing for Amma. I do not

necessarily attribute the symptoms directly to the sadhana, but i have done

healing work on others for many years, and I have been aware that the

purification process can carry with it a host of "symptoms" which will seem

weird and bizarre, only because of our lack of understanding of the process.

There are also times when I believe we are taking on (maybe without our

conscious knowledge) the pain of others, and the pain of this planet, who is

under so much stress. We do not live in a box, so we can not think like we live

in a box, or measure experiences as if we lived in a box.

We are existing here on so many levels and dimensions, yet we normally have

awareness of only one level; the physical. There are so many other levels, each

more subtle than the last. Yet, although we are ignorant of the existence of

these other levels within us, they are still there, and they always interacting,

and trying to integrate. As we awaken, these "other levels and dimensions" of

our existence will become more apparent to us as the whole begins to integrate

with all of it's parts. Pain is as much a part of the natural process as

pleasure.

May we all reach Her lotus Feet, and Dissolve into Her Cosmic Heart!

Striving to Dissolve into Her Love,

Sanatani

Namah Shivayah,

I just had to comment on this subject, because it really struck a chord with

what I am

going through right now. I have been having a whole host of physical and

spiritual

"symptoms" (for lack of a better word) lately and have also found myself having

a hard

time staying in my body/not going into a depersonalized state. All of this is

not a result of

meditation or practices (which I must admit I have fallen short on

lately!)....it is all

spontaneous. I think it is difficult to speculate on WHAT this is whether it is

ourselves or

someone else going through it. At this point, I am still rendered confused...but

I am also

understanding it to be Amma's will that I go through this process for reasons I

am

obviously unaware of yet!

I am keeping a detailed journal of these experiences. The last half dozen or so

posts on

my website deal with this. It's at http://www.ammaschildren.com under the "Amma

Journal". If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, feel free to contact me. I

think it can help

to connect with others who are going through the same thing since it is almost

impossible

to explain to someone who is not going through it.

Much love to all of my brothers and sisters on this list! I know I haven't

posted in awhile,

and it is due precisely to this spiritual upheaval I am going through.
