Namah Shivaya,

Below is what the MA Ctr e-mailed to local satsangs. The good result is that

more than the normal amount of local satsang gatherings seem to be happening in

Santa Cruz county. An apparently major landslide caused a detour on a major

local highway for 2 days. In my small mountain town, Fox News broadcasted today

about the saturated hill sides. The local paper showed a house that appeared to

have slid off of it's foundation. And, it's supposed to start raining again

tonight! I hope & pray everyone will be safe from landslides & falling trees.

Amriteswaryai Namah!

Dear Amma Devotees in the Bay Area,

The M.A. Center will close its gates this week. The unusual

weather pattern of persistent rains has saturated the soils on the

hills at the ashram and along the road to the ashram as well as the

Crow Canyon thoroughfare. Landslides and slumps into the roads are

a warning to us and we want to keep everyone off of these roads

which could be unstable and a threat to safety. There could also

be a danger of cars getting stranded at the ashram if roads slump.

The ashram residents are moving off the ashram temporarily to

nearby devotees’ homes from Thursday of this week.

There will be no programs at the MA Center from the 14th of April.

The gates to the ashram will be closed. Please do not come to the

ashram from that date until we have notified everyone that the

ashram gates are re-opened.

Cancelled: all programs from 14th April including:

April 15th Saturday satsang

April 16th Spring Retreat

We will update you after another week regarding the status of

programs. (We hope to resume programs Saturday April 22nd,

including the Earth Day Celebration. As of now these are

tentative).

Thank you for your cooperation and prayers.
