OM NAMAH SIVAYA

 

Linda, in an effort to lighten your load i have copied below the

Mother Earth sankalpa info i saved from Shree Maa's original posts.

i don't see any conflict with Amma as She also told us to pray for

the welfare of Mother Earth. this vow has been a great blessing!

 

MOTHER EARTH SANKALPA

Take a sankalpa to pray to one or more or all the planets with japa

and/or homa as per your capacity and the following system. You can

do it in one asana, in one day or in one week or on the day of the

planet or in a month or over time--as you like. It is your sankalpa.

Just complete the sankalpa this year as an offering to Earth Mother.

 

Surya - Sunday

Chandra - Monday

Mangal - Tuesday

Buddha - Wednesday

Brihaspati - Thursday

Sukra - Friday

Sani - Saturday

Rahu/Ketu - any day

 

Surya

Om Hrim Hrim Suraya Namah

6,000 japa - that means 60 malas with Om Hrim Hrim Suraya Namah

and/or 600 homa oblations - that means 6 malas at the fire with Om

Hrim Hrim Suraya Swaha. japa should be done with fingers facing up.

 

Chandra

Om Aim Klim Somaya Namah

15,000 japa - that means 150 malas with Om Aim Klim Somaya Namah

and/or 1,500 homa oblations - that means 15 malas at the fire with

Om Aim Klim Somaya Swaha. Japa done with fingers facing down.

 

Mangala

Om Hum Srim Mangalaya Namah

8,000 japa - that means 80 malas with Om Hum Srim Mangalaya Namah

and/or 800 homa oblations - that means 8 malas at the fire with Om

Hum Srim Mangalaya Swaha. Japa done with fingers facing up.

 

Buddha

Om Aim Strim Srim Buddhaya Namah

17,000 japa - that means 170 malas with Om Aim Strim Srim Buddhaya

Namah and/or 1,700 homa oblations - that means 17 malas at the fire

with Om Aim Strim Srim Buddhaya Swaha. Japa done with fingers facing

sideways.

 

Brihaspati

Om Hrim Klim Hum Brihaspataye Namah

19,000 japa - that means 190 malas with Om Hrim Klim Hum

Brihaspataye Namah and/or 1,900 homa - that means 19 malas at the

fire with Om Hrim Klim Hum Brhaspataye Swaha. Japa done with

fingers facing sideways.

 

Sukra

Om Hrim Srim Sukraya Namah

21,000 japa - that means 210 malas with Om Hrim Srim Sukraya Namah

and/or 2,100 homa oblations - that means 21 malas at the fire with

Om Hrim Srim Sukraya Swaha. Japa done with fingers facing sideways.

 

Sani

Om Aim Hrim Srim Sanaiscaraya Namah

10,000 japa - that means 100 malas with Om Aim Hrim Srim

Sanaiscaraya Namah and/or 1,000 homa oblations - that means 10 malas

at the fire with Om Aim Hrim Srim Sanaiscaraya Swaha. Japa done

with fingers facing up.

 

Rahu

Om Aim Hrim Rahave Namah

12,000 japa - that means 120 malas with Om Aim Hrim Rahave Namah

and/or 1,200 homa oblations - that means 12 malas at the fire with

Om Aim Hrim Rahave Swaha. Japa done with fingers facing up.

Om Hrim Aim Ketave Namah
