I hear a lot of stories about people facing challenging situations. I

like to give these sweet children of Amma to prayer warriors so that

Amma can shower them with grace...miracles even! Today is a good day

for miracles, right?

 

So pick up those malas, prayer warriors, and pray for whichever of the

following people touch your heart today.

 

--Mr. Gwen W. Wray (undergoing treatment for lung cancer)

 

--Kirtana Krishna Dasi (in U.S. whose immigration challenges are

keeping her from her fiancee in Canada)

 

--Prakashini (Teresa Turner) and Beatrice Turner, daughter caring for

94 year old Beatrice, the mother.

 

--Michael Singh waiting for important, life changing news.

 

--John Washington whose anger cannot be held in anymore and who needs

to find forgiveness, love, strength and inner peace.

[amma-l] A humble request

Dear All,

 

The city of Mumbai was thrown out of gear on July 11, 2006. Innocent

lives lost and thousands injured. The Indian Government has come to

a conclusion that this blasts would have been masterminded by

Pakistan or some Lashkar group - our enemy country. The real enemies

are not outside our country, but within, within ourselves. We want

our TV screen to become wider and wider. We are not contended with a

14 or a 21 inch TV (Amma saying) . But very sadly, our hearts are

becoming narrower. Hatred towards fellow beings, jealousiness, egoes

etc have found a permanent place in our hearts and the result - Bomb

Blasts , riots and violence. Political parties from all over India

have visited Mumbai last night and there by have secured safe vote

bank. Aritifical sympathies and 1 lakh compensation is what they

have given to all those who have lost their lives in yesterday's

blast.

 

The need of the hour is to Pray. My humble request to all the

recipients of this mail is to observe 2 minute silence . Let us all

pray to God that let not such attacks happen anywhere in the world.

Let Love prevail everywhere. Love is the only medicine that can heal

the wounds of the world. It does not matter how long we live on

this planet, a few moments of that love, makes life worthwhile and

bring joy not only to us , but to the entire creation around us.

Love is the greatest persuasive power we know in life. When the

power of love overcomes the love for power,there is peace in the

world. So , let us train our mind for L.C.G. (Love - Concentration -

God), free the mind from L.G.A (Lust - Greed - Anger), and fill our

mind with A.I.A. (Attention - Intention - Action). Attention

energises the Action, Intention brings fulfillment. The result is

E.P.S (Excellence - Perfection - Success) leading to L.H.H.

(Longevity - Health - Happiness). So love as long as life lasts.

Love what you do and do what you love.

 

If we are able to spare 2 minutes from our busy schedule and pray

for all those departed souls, then yes, that would definitely mean

putting Amma's teachings into practice.
