Linda: who the Western Swami was and where we were talking

Mahamuni..thank you! Yes, it was Br. Shantamrita. I was pouring thru

some books to find a picture and I believe this is who it was. He

has dark hair, tall, very vibrant, outgoing.

 

It was after a retreat in Detroit, and he was on the elevator with a

couple of us. He was SO energetic after being up most hours. That is

when I asked him how they keep up with Amma. He was so cheerful and

then said, "We DON'T!" Then we all laughed. (really who could do

THAT?!) But I asked, "Don't you get a lot more energy being around

Her? When She is here, I never want to even sleep if She is in the

hall. I want to be with Her every moment." He told me, "Yes it's

true. Being around Her does make it easier as She does bring us Her

energy." or something like that.
