Dear GeorgeSon and all ~ this reminds me of one of my favorites prayers from

the Chandi Path. Here it is:

om agnir jyotir jyotir agnih svaha l

sury jyotir jyotir suryah swaha l

agnir varcho jyotir varchah svaha l

suryo varcho jyotir varchah svaha l

jyotih suryah suryo jyotih svaha ll

 

Om The Divine Fire is the Light, and the Light is the Divine Fire; I am One

with God!

The Light is the Divine Fire; I am One with God!

The Light of Wisdom is the Light, and the Light is the Light of Wisdom; I am

One with God! The Divine Fire is the offering, and the Light is the Offering;

I am One with God!

The Light of Wisdom is the Offering, and the Light is the Light of Wisdom; I

am One with God!

 

svaha = I am One with God

 

Is it not beautiful. Blessings ~ Linda P.S., although, being unfamiliar

with Sanskrit, I am not sure if Jyoti and Jyotir are the same thing, but my

guess is that they are at least related, as Light/Fire/etc.
