Dear Rachel ~ these words were like a balm to my sick body and wounded spirit. Just a simple sentence you have relayed ~ Amma's precious words. As most of you know, I am quite ill, and I seem to be getting sicker with each passing month. My sadhana is often simply reciting my Amma mantra as I lay (lie? ... any English teachers or afficianados, please help me out with this one because I can't remember the rule) in my bed. Or reading the few books I have (and thank you very much to A & S for sending me some wonderful new ones). This doesn't seem like much sadhana to me, so I always have a "less than" feeling, which then ties back into all my childhood "stuff." So these words were like having Amma's permission to "just do what you (I) can." Thank you so much ~ Linda
