We are all students in this. This group is intended for South Bay residents in Northern California. The process of acquiring healthy physical, emotional and mental attitudes begins when we recognise the need to live a wholesome life. The basic principles to follow in yoga ('concentration of the mind') are those propounded in the classical yoga principles of Maharishi Patanjali (500 BC) - which includes Pranayama. This was organized in a definite system by Maharishi Patanjali in his treatise of 185 shlokas (stanzas) "Yoga Darshana" (Philosophy of Yoga) or "Yoga Sutra" (Aphorisms on Yoga). Yoga strengthens both the body and the mind - techniques help still the mind and the breath - and with that the aging. Yoga is the only way which works the inner thought and helps keep the body in normal condition. All types of diseases are cured by Yogasan and Pranayam.
