I see that many post Amma's words here often, but there is a lot of other stuff here too, and my time is limited. Since Amarnath asked me to post Daily Amma here, and then everyone was so appreciative of the NVC post, I thought I'd share all this with you, and invite you to come to AmmaBhakti to see if you can feel the sacred, contemplative space that we have been working to create there... Dear Mary Ann ~ I first want to thank you for bringing the technique of nonviolent communication forward. I visited the website and very much appreciated what I read there, so I saved it into my "favorites." These ideas are more crucial now than ever. I also don't feel at all, though I don't know anything about the AmmaBhakti Group, that it is mistaken to want to keep the group as it originated, as a kind of sanctuary. We have the Ammachi digest for our interactions, like you said, it is the kitchen, hallways, lobby, and perhaps lounge ... a place where we share our thoughts and feelings, agree, disagree, and share our feelings for one another and for the group. I would like to visit the sanctuary. Could you provide the link? Thank you ~ Linda
Guest guest
Thank you for asking, Linda The link is: AmmaBhakti We have a "Daily Amma" post and it would be great if people would take their Amma quotes and post them as Daily Amma. It would also be good to put, after Daily Amma in the subject, a dash and a word or two that gives a clue what the post is about. Then we can use the archives to look up our favorite quotes. Otherwise you have to scroll through all the pages. For example, I posted yesterday a Daily Amma in which Amma told what the Mahatmas are here for. Ideally the subject heading would read: Daily Amma - Mahatmas That's a new idea I just had, and I think it will be very helpful for us to keep track of our favorite quotes. You and all are welcome.
