Guest guest
Well I am a backslapper but that is probably just because I am truly grateful. It is my nature to usually find good things in others. I was lucky to be born with this. It is not that I never complain (hence see my "crabby" post!). But for me the bigger picture of everything before me is the greatest gift. Each breath is a gift. I thank Amma for the gift of life. May my life be half of what Temba's is. He is a marvel of love, a brilliance of loving light that showers profusely upon us. May we each have even half of his spirit and love. Temba, I bow down to the beauty and love that shine from you. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, It's like seeing the glass as half full rather than half empty - but more so. It's optimism vs pessimism but more so. It's having a loving, open heart, being a happy, loving person, vs a person who is miserably unhappy. I don't think we choose to be unhappy, it's either habit or a chemical imbalance, or a reaction to bad circumstances. The reason we all clamor to be around Mother is because we want some of Her happiness, peace, bliss. Fortunately for us it's contagious. I'm sure we've all had the experience of being at Her feet , feeling wonderful, and then we look at our lives and see how we usually are and have a sense of disbelief that we could chose to be miserable. Fortunately She brings us back to where we belong. She works very hard to bring us to a state of happiness. Can we even imagine how hard She works to bring us out of the darkness of our own misery into Her light?
