What Mother means by "believer" is not someone who has faith in a god

or goddess but someone who gives value to higher principles for which

he is willing to sacrifice everything. If these qualities serve as the

principles by which the non-believer [in a Supreme Power] lives his

life, he will be equal to a believer. On the other hand, if those

qualities are only on the outside, if they are shallow and not deep, a

person will not have the benefits of a true believer. Often non-

believers like to talk but they do not put their words into practice.
