Guest guest
Dear Linda & all, It appears that the silver lining in my computer going up & down, & having a very busy period, is that I've missed some negative posting. Linda, you've mentioned a vision where Ammachi appeared , along with angels, totem animals, etc..., saying something like, "I am all of these." In an experience, I believe very strongly that Amma verified that She truely is our Kali-Ma. This week I wondered if Kali had anything to say to me, & opened The Gospel of Sri Rama Krishna to this: "Kali is none other than Brahman. That which is Primordial Energy. When that Energy remains inactive, I call it Brahman, & when It creates, preserves, or destroys, I call it Sakti or Kali. What you call Brahman, I call Kali." He also said: "However great & infinite God may be, His Essence can & does manifest Itself through men by His mere will. God's Incarnation as a man cannot be explained by analogy. One must feel it by direct perception. ... We see God Himself, if we but see His Incarnation." "...If you seek God, then seek Him in man. He manifests Himself more in man than in any other thing. If you see a man endowed with ecstatic love, over flowing with prema, mad after God, intoxicated with His love, then know for certain that God has incarnated Himself though that man." "There is no doubt that God exists in all things; but the manifestations of His Power are different in different beings. The greatest manisfestation of His Power is through an Incarnation. Again, in some Incarnations there is a complete manifestation of God's power. It is the Sakti, the Power of God, that is born as an Incarnation." Well, this sure sounds like our Amma. On the other hand, I've seem other teachers, some of whom may or may not be complete Incarnations. Still, the light that shines through them, is God, or Amma, in my humble opinion. So, even if this list is dedicated to Amma, I don''t see a big deal in making references to others, who Amma shines through. She gives mantras for many forms of God, says that all true religions are one, that She & Yoganada are one, etc ... Amma doesn't seem to have any problem with the illusory differences. It seems it's just our minds that have problems with them. That must be part of why Amma encourages us to quiet our minds. nierika wrote: Dear group, I am writing because, though I haven't been posting, I have kept up a bit with the digests. ...... My heart holds Ammachi, as Her heart holds me; it also holds Shree Maa and Swamiji, and Yogananda and Karunamayi and Swami Amir Jyoti (on another plane at this point), and Swami Satchitananda, and Ananda Mayi Ma, and Ramakrishna. The heart is bigger than we may sometimes believe; it is big enough to hold the universe. These mahatmas have no stake in who we choose as our guru. They are happy we choose to be on this spiritual journey. Travel Find great deals to the top 10 hottest destinations!
