Amma in Australia

In response to Anathashree's heartfelt plea to share

how Amma is moving in our lives, I'll contribute

this tidbit.

I had always wanted to see Amma in Australia and

actually had a ticket on courtesy hold. Then I

decided it would be better to save the money and

it was "too complicated" to figure out the hotels,

retreats, etc. So the ticket lapsed and went

unpurchased.

Later I decided that I was going to sell some

property. It had hung in my mind sort of

haze-like that now I could afford it, but I

still did nothing. Then, amazingly, a friendly

acquaintance half a continent away sent me the

following e-mail:

"Dear Jyotsna...

The last two days when I have been out walking you have come to mind.

I keep thinking I need to tell you about Amma in Australia. You may

have decided for sure, for sure, for sure you are not going, BUT if

there is any chance I thought I would pass this along.

Other than the trip over ( which of course can be very tiring) being

with Amma in Australia is quite nice. The devotees are ever so

good-hearted and friendly. Well Australia itself is just a very

friendly place! Their pace of life is trying to catch up with us here

in the U.S. , but thankfully so, they are still going at a more

humanly friendly approach. Right now money wise the exchange is where

we get MORE for our dollar there, so things are a little cheaper than

here.

Maybe you have been thinking again of going...or maybe not, but just

felt I should write. ALL these trips out of the country to see Amma

are a S-T-R-E-T-C-H for me ( being that I like home so much). But

anyway if you have someone who is wanting to go from up there too...I

bet you would like it. I'd be glad to see you there!"

Well, it didn't take me too long to decide to go see Amma

in Australia! This person only e-mails me about twice a year.

What can I think except that Amma wants me to come?

Thanks be to Amma for good friends with great intuition!

So that's my positive Amma story. Now if some others

contribute positive stories, we'll be back in business!

Love,

Jyotsna

Dear sister Jyotsna, ( talented scribe that you are),

many, many thanks for your positive news.

Please do not forget to give us news from Amma's programs in Australia.

You are so very talented at taking notes at the programs,

and so very kind in sharing them with us.

I thank you in advance for this service, as it does take your time and

energy.

In Amma's Divine Love,

sarama
