An Amma devotee( Temba Spirits ) who started out with some hard times( ghetto, jail, etc ) has had his life turned around by Amma in a big way. He was/is having strong feelings that he would like others in similar disadvantaged life circumstances to benefit from Amma as he did. So, Amma told him "Your innocent desire will be fulfilled." So, now it seems that this fulfillment is starting to happen. With Murals of Amma, Gandhi, Martin Luther King in two prominent ghettos. And Temba is meeting with various organizations to bring youth, etc to Amma's programs. For most of us, it is hard enough( but definitely worth it ) just to get ourselves to see Amma and spend as much time as possible with Her. It almost seems selfish. But, Temba's unselfish desire for others to spend time with Amma ~ and not only desire but actually working for it, to me, is quite amazing. Not just working a few hours, but my feeling is that this is a continuous seva for temba. May Amma continue to bless him and guide him and provide resources for his innocent desire to help the poor. May Amma inspire anyone who may be able to help, to do so. Perhaps this could spread throughout USA. He hopes that these groups of people coming to see Amma will be fed for free ~ just as Amma feeds thousands of Indians on Her Indian tours for free. Temba could no doubt use some support. He personally is not asking for any for himself. I just feel it is a unique opportunity for devotees and perhaps others who may be in a position to help. For devotees( who are able ) this is an excellent chance of doing Guru Seva for truly (in my humble opinion ) Temba is a willing instrument of Amma's Will to help the poor in this world. Help in the form of contacts, rides, places to stay, some finances would be good. Perhaps, this can done in NYC also if anyone knows of any NYC contacts? AMMAs sun has been homeless and been through just about every street struggle that you can think of so we are through HER GRACE inviting and bringing everyone from the teenager on probation struggling to stay out jail, to the homeless person who feels alone, to the drug addict, to any one who AMMA draws to us to receive HER DARSHAN IN June~July.THIS HAPPENS IN INDIA IN MASS. Why not here? we have reached out to youth org. and other that deal with these topics and have through the okay of AMMA through swamidayamrita , we have sent out multiple tapes of AMMAs 50th birthday celebration through the book store and AMMAs sun has personally made sure that he has established a heart to heart connection with everyone that we have reached out to. the first youth org. that agreed to come in June~July. is a group that deals with teens that are either on probation or struggling to stay out of jail and change their lives. after the director of the program David true saw the video of AMMAS 50TH BIRTHDAY his response was, "we will be bringing a bus load,what SHE IS DOING IS BEAUTIFUL." while connecting with david, AMMAs sun made sure that david new that he was from his heart grateful to the work that they were doing. through this seva and AMMAs grace , sweta has been able to so far inspire at least 6 of AMMAs homeless children to attend AMMAS darshan and has showed the video to a few people as well. while AMMAs sun is in cali he will meet with as many of these org. in person as he can. he has already going to be doing a day of service for at least two of them. AMMAs sun will more then happyily take the bart train, however, if there is anyone out there who from the week the 14th of this month to that friday who has the time and wants to particpate in this seva that is driving who would like to provide transportion to sanfrancisco and other surrounding areas as well and maybe pass out flyers near homeless shelters etc.please email this child or call his cell phone @773-552- 4999. we are working out the details of it at this point , but soon we will be asking for donations that will be channeled through Sweta Mitzel in order to provide meals for these children of AMMA . we want them to feel as loved as possible. Her orchestration of events to guide her children to the fulfillment of their most innocent desires is a science we will never comprehend.....so perfect and beautiful! Jai Ma!!
