Om Amriteswaryai Namaha,

Amma says we should learn the nature of things and their

functionality and especially the nature of ego.

I encourage everyone either participating or concerned about current

debates to take the time and read "Awaken Children" Vol VI, Chap 2.

And when there is more time, both entire Vols VI and VII have much of

Amma's Wisdom about the nature of mind, ego and the goal of spiritual

practices.

I personally would like discussions to center around Amma's

teachings; not just words but to contemplate the truth of Amma's

teachings in our daily lives and learn about the nature of mind, ego(

our own mind and ego ) so we can share from our own experiences. And

how our experiential insights help us in our daily lives and inspire

us to lead more unselfish lives. Amma equates "unselfishness" with

spirituality.

It is said that to study, contemplate and live the words of a Satguru

like Amma, one does not have to study any other scriptures, etc.

Quite a few have attained enlightenment via such a beautiful path.

These are just my leanings. Yours may be different. Thanks for

listening.

Amma's Blessings,

amarnath

may all beings everywhere be happy and peaceful !

Dear One,

I would love to see such a change in direction for our discussions.

For someone who is relatively new to Amma, this would be very helpful

and inspiring.
