Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya: Dear Amma Children: Amma has said that this is a Satsang. Amma did not say we would be a satvic Satsang. A satsang can be as dysfunctional as your common family or partnership. Satsanga derives from the word Sat. Sat has been defined as the truth of truths beyond the three gunas. More commonly Satsang means the company of the holy. My conception of Satsang is that it needs to be a place of refuge. The outer world bombards us with clashing and fighting. Vivekananda likened outside world human relationships to two puppies yipping and nipping. One aspires for Satsang to be an aid to navigating this ocean of transmigration. The Ammachi Satsang (I will shout now) IS ABOUT AMMA. I do not really care that much about hatha yoga and yogic cooking practices. There is a place for that on this Satsang yet I may pass on those type of posts. I reiterate the subject of this Y-Satsang/telesatsang is A-M-M-A. Where can one gather and globally discuss God and His/Her precepts? If this is not the place I will contemplate un-subscribing. Discussion about Amma's glorious example seems to take a back seat (at times) to hot-button vasana-laden issues. Amma says Selfishness is like a worm infested fruit. Allow me to substitute the word Self-Centeredness for the purpose of this Posting. Do I post from a place of me/my opinion on blah blah yuch poo. Or Do I post thinking of that Light of Lights the embodiment of Love. At times I do the former. Can you spell E-G-O (Edging God Out) If we talk about Amma on this list we seem to be on safe ground. She is SAT itstelf. She is purity and love. Anyone take issue on this? When we deviate into personal opinion what do we gain? The blind leading the blind? GeorgeSon is ignorant. No GeorgeSon is knowledgeable Who cares? I (GeorgeSon) will take my vasanas with me through samskara without the aid of others opinions/interpretation. Let me share something with y'all. I am a struggling soul. Doing Sadhana is an intense pain at times. The pitfalls and pratfalls are endless. The razors edge is an understatement. Amma says we are all blessed with an extremely rare human birth. One is even more blessed to fall into the sphere of a Sadguru. A Sadgurus satsang should be a place of love. I need love or my path will further deteriorate into a Mideast minefield. Please help Amma's Mission by keeping these e-waves satvic. Not I but thou Not I but thou Amma. Namaste and Love, GeorgeSon
