Guest guest
I'll tell the Lalita Sahasranaam chanting interruption/stopping story in a couple weeks when this group has had time to switch to another topic for a while. I'm sure anyone will agree that the offense was inexcusable, and probably contributed to the removal of the satsang leader (at that time) prior to the re-organizational meetings Dayamrita held. Sweet Nanda has typical guru pride (like many on this group) and is protective as such (i.e. over-zealous at times), but is knowledgable in Swamiji's teachings. Patterns...hmmmmmm: Sounds like Metaphysics/New Age to me, no thanks. My good friends Detachment, One-pointedness Concentration, Discrimination (not Intuition or "feelings" or "special knowing"), and basic knowledge as taught by Ammachi are what give me authority. No one has to believe anything I say. Merely dismissing things that appear or feel negative is not what Ammachi teaches. Not staying true to the truth is not what Ammachi teaches. tom Ammachi, "Mahamuni" <mahamuni wrote: > > Again I would have to ask, who made you the authority or sole judge of who leads a spiritual or worldly life, or who has devotion and ettiquette and who does not? > > I am soooooo surprised that you clashed with yet another person, sweet Nanda, the hard working moderator of the Devi Mandir forum. Guest guest
Inexcusable--not sure there is such an eternal thing--Thank Goddess! Guru pride? Why shouldn't a disciple have Guru pride and be protective of their Guru. Patterns are New Age/Metaphysical mumbo, huh? What can I say to this. I'm sorry but just stating words does not give you authority. Truth? Whose Truth? Only your truth. - Tom Ammachi Wednesday, March 15, 2006 10:28 AM Re: Story to come later I'll tell the Lalita Sahasranaam chanting interruption/stopping story in a couple weeks when this group has had time to switch to another topic for a while.
