Guest guest
You need to petition the moderator to make such a limitation on this group. Example: "Only positive messages about Ammachi and her disciples, devotees are allowed on this board, please respect these guidelines. (then refer the other free-speech group)" You're a true Dayamrita crony in choosing to manipulate this group rather than having this group listed as I've mentioned above. COMMUNICATE!!! I look at actions and discriminate, not go with passion and feelings. I think I made my point about seeking truth in an earlier post. Seek only the pleasant and positive and you stay in the bliss of ignorance, feeding the ego. But to express them publically in a forum like this is not appropriate. At least only do it in the free speech zone group, if you insist on expressing yourself in this way. > > I have had my own positive and not so positive experiences with Dayamrita, but I would never state the type of things you stated, and especially not in this forum. Not only because it does not help to speak in this way about someone else, but how about just simple, old fashioned respect. If one hasn't even learned respect, how can they advance in spiritual life? > > Surya
Guest guest
Tom, You never seem to get it. While you don't have to post only positive messages, which would not be a bad idea IMHO, at least keep the posts neutral. Negative posts don't help anyone. Calling me a Dayamrita crony, which I might point out is yet another negative name calling post from you, is so laughable that I don't know what to say. But regardless of how I feel or don't feel about Dayamrita or any of the Swamis or any of the other people who travel with Amma, I would never post derrogatory things about them here to many people I don't know, especially when they are not here to defend themselves. There is no reason to do so and there is no benefit to anyone, especially to the person making the derrogatory comments. Bottom line is no one is perfect, including both you and I, and there are many perspective with which someone can view and judge another's actions. All those perspectives may not be proper and/or complete. But maybe petitioning the moderator is not a bad idea. I haven't seen anyone else support your point of view on this subject. I am not interested in bickering with you as others have stated. But discussion on this topic is not bickering as far as I am concerned. I don't consider this fighting but needed discussion. Remember Sri Krishna also exhorted Arjuna to fight it out instead of making a dignified (or cowardly, depending on the way you want to look at it) retreat? I also consider this as a valid dharmic discussion that you and Tom are having, although it is unambigously strenous and unpleasant to all. I am trying really hard to follow what the Guru is in all of this: see the the Guru in all; see all the words and actions as the Guru's words and actions. No more comments about or to anyone, and my hardest best to not judge anyone. My best wishes to all. Jai Ma!

So will repeated use of racial or ethnic slurs. I've also rejected rambling, incoherent new-agey messages and far-left über-PC commentary that has absolutely zilch to do with Amma or eastern spirituality in general. But no one will ever be booted from this group for not towing the official Amma party line. Remember you can always hit 'delete' or send an off-list message rather than carry on these tempests-in-teapots with the entire group. Guest guest
Wow what stupidity it's not ok to make fun of specific race but ok to offend Amma devotees. Then I petition you to have Amma devotees classified as a specific race or class of people. Guest guest
Thanks, Ravi. Being often (perhaps even chronically) afflicted with idiocy and stupidity myself, it is nice to know that I am capable of supporting those who may, sadly, be bereft of discrimination and love. And we do need at least the occasional idiotic and stupid post to remind us of what is smart and devotional.
