The bashing of the DC satsang has been going on a little too long. I don't believe any group is a "perfect" group; that's what we're all here for ... to work on ourselves, to share the work, etc. It was nice to read what you wrote about playing guitar for the bhajan group. I only wish the small satsang I got going here was interested in that kind of thing. I'd happily drag out my guitar and do accompanyment. And you are so right, the best thing is to just not get into the "stuff" floating around. I liked what you said about not giving it any energy. Guest guest
I'd like to second the sentiment that the DC Satsang is just fine. Never had any problems, and people have been more than welcoming and understanding about my kid's disabilities (he has autism and is pretty hyper). To me, that sort of kindness and tolerance is a very big deal and a good bottom-line indicator of people's character. peace, Jim Ammachi, "Mahamuni" <mahamuni wrote: > > Right On! > - > nierika > Ammachi > Sunday, March 12, 2006 5:06 PM > Re: To Rufus about DC satsang > > > > Rufus wrote: > > >> I've been following the posts here, and it seems as if the DC satsang > group has been > >> taking a beating here. > > >> I'm a member of the DC satsang, and we have a nice group here.
