Dear Rufus ~ I'm glad you decided to post. The bashing of the DC satsang has

been going on a little too long. I don't believe any group is a "perfect"

group; that's what we're all here for ... to work on ourselves, to share the

work, etc. It was nice to read what you wrote about playing guitar for the

bhajan group. I only wish the small satsang I got going here was interested in

that kind of thing. I'd happily drag out my guitar and do accompanyment. And

you are so right, the best thing is to just not get into the "stuff" floating

I'd like to second the sentiment that the DC Satsang is just fine.

Never had any problems, and people have been more than welcoming and

understanding about my kid's disabilities (he has autism and is pretty

hyper). To me, that sort of kindness and tolerance is a very big deal

and a good bottom-line indicator of people's character.
