Technical Difficulties

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

 

I am having some difficulty in posting the prayer list, and I am wondering if

any of you might have some helpful suggestions. I went through the whole list

and tried to make it easier for all of you to read. I bolded each name, and

italicized the requests next to each name, which made it much easier to read.

However, when I posted the new list, it looked really bad, and I apologize for

that. I have no idea why the list looks so different once it is posted. If

anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

In the mean time (My son always correct me when I say this...he says it should

be "in the nice time!") please forgive the jumbled way the list came out, and

know that I am working on making it as easy for you to read as possible.

All messages on this list are plain text only. No

bold, italics, or fancy non-standard fonts. No GIFs,

JPEGs and other graphics. Messages that are composed

in HTML or Rich Text format will automatically be

converted to plain text, with [Non-text portions of

this message have been removed] appended at the end.

 

Non-text formats can be buggy, can contain hidden

codes with viruses, malware or spyware, and take much

longer than plain text to download, for those poor

saps who still have dial-up connections.

as I understand it, all messages posted to this list will come through

in plain text - no bold or italics or font sizing or whatever. What

you could do, if you want to preserve the formatting, is simply upload

the document to the Files section in whatever format would work best

(doc, rtf, or pdf) instead of, or in addition to, sending it as an email.

 

Feel free to email me if you've got any questions or I can be of use to

you in converting or uploading files.
