Even though Karunamayi gave you a mantra doesn't mean that you can't ask Amma for one also. I have never heard of Amma refusing to give some one a mantra, although I have heard that She will sometimes make people wait for a spiritual name. When you see Amma this year, ask Her for a mantra. I can't imagine Her saying no. One factoid: you need to know what Deity you want the mantra for. For example, my sister asked for a Hunaman mantra. I asked for an Amma mantra, which I adore. Some people ask for Jesus mantras. If you have an ishta devata (spelling?), which is your Deity of choice, like Shiva or Saraswati or Ram, etc., you can ask Amma for a mantra for that Deity. So all you need to take with you is the awareness of what type of mantra you will ask for. Then, I believe, there is now a special line for people who want mantras to get in, and a class for people who have received mantras, which I believe is wonderful. They didn't have that when I received mine. Jai Ma ~ Linda
