So the next instant that feeling is gone Amma is notorious for getting very angry, although I hear she does so less frequently these days. Also she seems to limit this to her ashram. Guest guest
But is Her anger the same as yours or mine? She says no. She has no attachment to Hers. She can beat you one minute and hug you the next. - Rick Archer Ammachi Thursday, February 23, 2006 8:15 AM Re: Does Amma get angry ? on 2/23/06 3:56 AM, amarnath at anatol_zinc wrote: > > Amma ~ There is no need to get angry, son. Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya! You are right. Sri Rama too got angry at times. Psycologists will say "To get angry is OK. But it has to be expressed in responsible ways." As far we people, instead of expressing anger, we keep it to ourselves accumulating the anger in our mind (probably out of fear) which is the cause of many troubles we have, including physical ailments. Amma would never behave that way. Again we get angry if things don't go our way and we try to find punching bags. As far Amma she may express anger like a mother does or like a Guru does which only enhances our respect on Her. Om Namah Shivaya! Guest guest
As I understand,Amma's anger is to benefit the disciple. The anger of a Mahatma, Avatar is not the same as our very human anger. When Amma displays anger towards us, it is prasad. It is to bring us to the goal. adriane Ammachi, "Mahamuni" <mahamuni wrote: > > But is Her anger the same as yours or mine? She says no. She has no attachment to Hers. Guest guest
After it was explained to Ron Gottsegen, Administrative Director of AIMS that Amma's scolding of other disciples was Prasad, supposedly he wondered why he was not worthy of an Amma scolding ? Supposedly Amma does not do it unless it will benefit the disciple and the disciple is ready to be benefited in such a way. In Werner's case, at one point Amma told him to leave the Ashram for a while because he was becoming too popular( continuously meditating in the cave ) with all the ashramites; and that this popularity would not be good for his ego. namaste, amarnath Ammachi, "Adriane" <a1driane wrote: > > As I understand,Amma's anger is to benefit the disciple. Guest guest
How true. Amma always knows what we each need....Each devotee has their own personal relationship with Amma. She knows us each so well and the mind simply cannot fathom all She does. How does She know each of us, communicate with many simultaneously and so on...it is beyond the mind. Guest guest
Mother always become angry not to make her child to turn bad, But to develop good in them.
