Amma and Christ ~

 

O Mother, it's been a long day in the temple

Several thousands of embraces

Your right shoulder stained with sweat and tears

Coming down the winding staircase

Seemingly like Christ carrying the cross, stumbling and falling

You answer our prayers and do not stumble and fall

Which would break our tender hearts

Will Mother go to her room to rest now?

It's late, bhajans have already started by Swamiji

Mother turns and walks briskly now to the large bhajan hall

To sing and fill us with more Love and Devotion

Some of us exhausted from watching

Turn and go to rest in our rooms

Some stay !

Sometimes, Mother does go to Her room

To rest ?
