Guest guest
namah sivaya it's not about looking down upon you or screaming heresy for me. i'm just trying to understand why you remain here on this list. i am not trying to be rude but wouldn't you find more cameraderie with people who feel that jesus christ is the 'name above all names' instead of a list where amma's name and form are revered as that? one can admire, respect, and honor the man, jesus, who had reached his christhood and modeled that for us ("that which i do you can do and greater things than this...if you have faith" <my paraphrase>). one can take note of his example and revere him as a 'way-shower' without needing to assert his superiority over other christs or avatars. that's just my opinion but i am curious... jmcs_06 wrote: > Yes, there are many great souls and great saints (the hidden, > unknown ones, the somewhat known ones, and the great known ones) of > all types and forms and religions yet still I assure you that the > ultimate "Name above all names" is Jesus Christ (in whatever > language/dialect it is understood), even above great Kali Shakti > Amma...most of you will not understand this and will look down on me > and scream "heresy" because of your concepts and interpretations of > what I'm trying to say, which is really beyond human WORDS and > explanation. > > peace be with us -- "Naan Amme Snehikkunnu" Be Love, Egyirba
Guest guest
Aum Amriteshwaryai Namaha Aum Namaha Shivaya Pranams all, When I was reading this mail Amma's words which I had read , came to my mind .In which Amma says "Everyone is ready to fight for their religion, but no one is ready to live by its priciples." As Amma in one of her satsang had told about the various hindu gods.amma had told that though we worship god in many forms as Krishna ,Kali,Shiva and others but the underlying essence is the same. so I think if we understand this there would be no conflict in this issue.I have also heard about Swami Vivekananda's words about Christ in which he had told "To know who Christ is , you have to become Christ." I dont remember the exact words but it gives the same meaning.
