Chant and Be Happy

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness

(ISKCON), better known as the Hare Krishna movement,

came to the West in the mid-1960s. We hear the Hare

Krishna maha mantra along with music by one of their

most famous Western converts, former Beatle, George

Harrison.

Well, at least at the time of his death (and for

many years prior, I believe,) George Harrison was

an SRF member. I know he was with the Maharishi

for a while, but was he really ever in ISKCON?
