Guest guest
Just last night, I read that Amma said we should follow the example of how Christ lived, as well as other great souls. That's a very tall order, & I pray that more & more of us will have the grace to do just that. Amma didn't see any difference between Christ & Krishna. jmcs_06 <jmcs_06 wrote: Amma devotees and others from other spititual belief systems seem to PRIDE themselves on being so unlike those lowly modern- day "Christians", and they PRIDE themselves on being so loving and open-minded and tolerant of all forms of spiritual beliefs...YET Amma devotees and others seem to be so eager to trash and put down "Christianity" whenever an opportunity arises...just like the "Christians" do towards other spiritual beliefs different from their own... When you put aside all the religiousity and appearances, it is all the same old judgemental stuff, regardless of which "religion" you PRIDE yourself in being involved in...One aspect I really like about the deeper Christian monastic traditions is that they emphasize that SPIRITUAL PRIDE is the worst offense to God, above all others. love, Jah-nette/Kalika/querida (and many other names and forms) Ammachi, shakti shakti <hindushakti2000 wrote: > > Boycott Valentine Day Mail Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments.
