Dear everyone,

 

For those who may be interested: the folks on the Shree Maa digest are doing

a year long sankalpa to Mother Earth, which also includes propitiating the 9

planets. There are a variety of ways people can participate, and if you go

and read about this on the site, don't be discouraged about the though of

doing 6,000 malas in one sitting. Some people are doing 3. So far, I have

only been listening to the 9 Planet Mantra, a beautiful cd ... with mantras for

each of the planets, which include both nodes of the moon. Earth is not one

of the 9 planets, for the 9 planets act upon Earth and her children ... hence

the propitiation of the planets.
