Guest guest
Dear Amarnath ~ thank you so much for sharing this overview of different methods of eating you have tried and what has and hasn't worked for you. I have already been down the road of expensive supplements (most of which made me sicker than I already am), and I was thinking of seeing an ayurvedic doctor in Albuquerque (expensive just to get there, not to mention the other costs). I like your openness about this topic and your acceptance of what might work for one might not work for another. Even though I have watched the video you sent (and loved it ... more on this off-digest) and am reading the book about pain, which is not only philosophically interesting, but historically as well, this overview gave me additional information I didn't have. So again, my heartfelt thanks ~ Linda P.S., also in regard to your first paragraph regarding eating flesh (which I still do to a minimum), I think back to the teachings of Don Juan to honor the animal, not just in a psychological sense, but in a ritualistic manner as well. Whatever we eat, I believe we should give gratitude, not just to the Creator, but to the individual creation, be it vegetable, mineral, or whatever, for gracing us with its benefits, its energy, and its uniqueness.
