Guest guest
AMMAs son is from chicago and also useD to hang in cabrini green years ago.here is the real scoop on what is going on with the projects of CHICAGO. most of the cabrini green projects is gone just like the rest of the major projects are.miles and miles of projects on the southside and on the westside have been torn down. \they shoved those people in them and now they are shoving them out of them. IT IS ALL ABOUT MONEY AND CONVIENCE.for example ,white people are moving into my neighborhood now because they want to be closer to downtown.this move of ECONOMIC POWER is happening all over the city. people cannot afford to pay there taxes and they are saling and moving out because they cannot afford it.white people with money are buying the neighborhood up and others are being shipped around like cattle again just like the sixtys. the only thing some of my beloved brothers and sisters(YOU ALL) see is the corruption of the neighborhood.all some of you see is the crimes commited by the "crack heads " and the ex-cons ,etc.however there are far greater crimes being commited in the HOOD that never gets discussed because most of the people have LOST ALL HOPE AND ARE CONTENT WITH LIVING IN A DEPRESSED STATE OF MIND.no one is inspired to speak out.they did a good job in maming the spirits of the people in chicago. some of you cannot see it like this because you just have not followed the complete story, nor have you been there to experience this. YOU CAN READ AND STUDY ABOUT IT ,BUT YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN THIS AREA,SO IT IS HARD FOR YOU TO SEE IT CLEARLY.DONT TAKE THIS PERSONEL.AMMAs son just wants his brothers and sisters to understand.AMMAs son has been with you and has been in the projects.AMMA placed her son there so that he would always have a HEART for these people, exspecially when not many others would. some of you may see them as gang bangers,ex-cons,thugs,crimnals ,etc.AMMAs son cannot see like that.he knows on the surface that is what they think they are, however, AMMAs son looks at there potential, just like he looks at yours. \when AMMAs son had this mind state,AMMA kept looking at him as DIVINE(his potential) and this IS WHAT TRANSFORMED him.namah shivaya >"jmcs_06" <jmcs_06 >Ammachi >Ammachi > info: Cabrini-Green >Mon, 23 Jan 2006 18:57:19 -0000 > >For people not familiar with Cabrini-Green area of Chicago, here's a >link for more info. Guest guest
Yes, the poor people are being pushed out. Same story in San Francisco, and many places. Not least of which New Orleans, but there it looks like they are going to make a concerted stand for their home town. Just as the native people in many places are being driven off their land. I was moved to see the first Indian president in Bolivia since the invasions five centuries ago, standing under the temple gate at Tiawanaku in Indian dress, while Aymara elders chanted blessings and prayers in the old language. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, It seems that the middle class is being/was pushed out of San Francisco as well. Just my observation.
