Dear Amarnath ~ there was so much in what you quoted from Amma and in what

you said, and I really liked what you wrote above because my sense is that it

comes from your own experience. I would like to join in a practice of silence

and sharing what I experience. I think if some of us make this a sankalpa,

even if just for a certain period of time (like a month, or two months), and we

all share what we experience.

 

This morning, I turned off the television. I have always had a tendency to

have the television on as "background." It's something that comes from my

childhood (and I'm not even sure I want to know the real reason behind this

habit). But after a bit, I noticed the Silence. It was a Silence that was FULL.

What was it full of? Peace, Serenity, Stillness, and I thought, this actually

feels pretty good; I think I will do it more often. It was a Wonder - Full

experience.
