Guest guest
Namah Shivayah, These are notes taken from an Amma talk in November, 2004. We need to relax periodically. We should let go of our burdens while we are here. Meditation gives us peace of mind. In order to receive God's grace, we must become humble. Our greatest work is love and compassion. Ego is the root cause of all destruction. The troublemakers of negativity have broken into our hearts and stolen our peace of mind. Sorrows follow bad actions or are self-created by brooding. Don't lose your enthusiasm and optimism. There is always a morning after a night! The real problem is ego, which causes anger, etc. Anger is like a computer virus that destroys what is valuable. The beauty of the eyes is in seeing goodness. The beauty of the ears is in listening to others' problems. Love endures everything and turns ugliness into beauty. Attachment to Amma is the bond that breaks all bonds. It is the teaching of Sanatan Dharma that there is no difference between the Creator and the creation. We should learn to love everyone equally. Love is our real life's savings. Love is the foundation of a happy life. May we become lamps, shedding light for the world! Aum Amriteshwariyea Namah. Guest guest
Thanks so much for this! It came at exactly the right moment, when my heart was grieving over conflict initiated by someone i respected.
