Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya. Dear friends, A few years back I was lucky enough to accompany Amma on Her way to Calicut. At the usual Chai and Swim,'Neeraattu', break we were fortunate enough to receive 'chai' made and served by Our Amma. During that session She warned us about the addiction to coffee, coke and soft drinks. She said that 2 cups of tea is harmless. And I have been following Her directions ever since. As was mentioned the withdrawal symptoms were terrible as I was prone to migraines if I missed my daily cup of coffee. The strong faith in Amma and the eagerness to follow Her advice were the main factors that helped me through those days. I was really amazed when I realised that my migraine was under control once the coffee was out of my system. So anyone trying to get out of the habit keep thinking of Amma and I am sure the path will be easier. Love to all, Kitchu. Om Namah Sivaya. I seldom drink caffeinated beverages, but I get a much stronger buzz out of a cup of Chai at the local Amma center than I do from a cup of coffee. Maybe it's just how it's made.
