There IS NO CAN BE NO comparison between how good I feel after darshan with Amma and after having three beers. What a hoot. As a person in recovery from alcoholism this is so wonderful for me to reflect on! Cheers!!! I am wondering if you could add a name to Amma's Altar. I am friends with this wonderful woman who founded the Furry Friends Foundation here in Chicago, which is a no-kill animal shelter that took in many abused and unwanted animals and gave them loving homes. She dedicated 8 self-less years of her life to the shelter and has recently gotten breast cancer. She was forced to resign from the shelter, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. She is really struggling and not doing very well. She has no family, and needs all the prayer and support she can get. I thought maybe there could be a chance that her name could be added to Amma's Altars.
