Guest guest
My friend's response to this poem: Thanks, Ricky. Here's another version (hee hee) All is me. I am the light I need for anything I see. I walk in surrender to my Self, unattached to the future or the past. And because I am God I enjoy my entire creation, including fears and doubts. I am content wherever I am, and flow wherever I like. I walk one step at a time, in bliss, enjoying the light and love that God is. on 1/11/06 3:53 PM, jmcs_06 at jmcs_06 wrote: > ...come and let us walk in the Light of the Lord. > Isaiah 2:5 > > Just Enough Light > > Sometimes only the step I'm on, > or the very next one ahead, > is all that is illuminated for me. > > God gives just the amount of light I need > for the exact moment I need it. > At those times I walk in surrender to faith, > unable to see the future > and not fully comprehending the past. > > And because it is God who has given me > what light I have, > I know I must reject the fear > and doubt that threaten to overtake me. > I must determine to be content where > I am, and allow God to get me > where I need to go. > > I walk forward, > one step at a time, > fully trusting that > the light God sheds > is absolutlely sufficient. > > --Stormie Omartian (Christian) > > love, Kalika > > Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! > Links > > > > > > > > -- Rick Archer SearchSummit 1108 South B Street Fairfield, IA 52556 Phone: 641-472-9336 Fax: 815-572-5842 Skype: Rick_Archer http://searchsummit.com rick
Guest guest
Jai Jai Jai Ma!!!! Thank you for this beautiful and inspiring poem. It came just when I was meant to read it! jmcs_06 <jmcs_06 wrote: ...come and let us walk in the Light of the Lord. Isaiah 2:5 Just Enough Light Sometimes only the step I'm on, or the very next one ahead, is all that is illuminated for me. God gives just the amount of light I need for the exact moment I need it. At those times I walk in surrender to faith, unable to see the future and not fully comprehending the past. And because it is God who has given me what light I have, I know I must reject the fear and doubt that threaten to overtake me. I must determine to be content where I am, and allow God to get me where I need to go. I walk forward, one step at a time, fully trusting that the light God sheds is absolutlely sufficient. --Stormie Omartian (Christian) love, Kalika Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha!
