Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, Thank you Linda for sharing your powerful realization that we are more than our bodies, & that they're vehicles to carry us to oneness. Yesterday, my 14-year-old son, shared a very similar dream that he had on the previous night. He was in space, & saw what he initially described as a super nova. He had the same thought as you, Linda, that he wasn't in Kansas anymore! (lol) Behind him, was a Black Hole, sucking up everything. But, he was floating towards maybe a 7 or 8 pointed (white?) star, that resembled a marital arts throwing star. Only it's points, were curved insteaad of straight. Above it was an explosion of blue light, & there appeared a galaxy. This was a lucid dream, & up to this point, it sounded like an amazing experience. But, then he said that out of nowhere, there appeared a large tray of brownies right in front of him, & then he awoke. Has he watched "That 70's Show" one too many times, or what?!? As a side note, my son gave me permission to share his last darshan experience with Amma. With a little imaginaton, maybe you can see the humor in it. It was amazing that my son decided to see Amma again, "to make me happy." Previously, he had tried to test Amma to no avail, to see if She really knew his thoughts. During our darshan, Amma hugged my son first, & then cracked up laughing. Amma looked at my son, then kept laughing as She looked at me & hugged me. Later he said, "She laughed at me!" (She did.) Trying to figure it out, I asked what he was thinking. He said that Amma kept pulling him in closer & closer during the hug, so much so that he had trouble breathing. It was pretty funny to see him recall his thoughts, while panting or gasping for air. He thought,"I'm suffocating. Oh great ... I'm going to die right here." To hear him recall it, was hilarious. I'm hopeful that he (his ego) really will die right in Mother's lap. He's actually started talking about seeing Amma this summer, & has talked our landlord into getting darshan, too. This seems like nothing short of a miraculous change in a rebellious teen's attitude. There was a deep rich black all around me, stars, planetary systems. ... this experience showed me with no doubt that I was more than just this physical body and that the physical body was a vehicle that could carry me to oneness.
