Guest guest
ONS, After meeting Amma, I was anxious to get a name. The main reason for wanting a name, was to give me more faith that Amma was *really* my mother. Naming their children is just what mothers do for their children. So, when the Swami presented several name options to Amma, She looked at them & signaled "no". Then She seemed to be looking at something near the side of my head & signaled "yes" for Sweta. The swami said that Sweta means purity, as in pure white. Later, a friend from Japan, said that my legal name, June, also means purity, but in Japanese. I especially notice beautiful names and love the stories of what they mean to each person. My life changed each of the six times I have changed my name....like the sound of Kalika it is so musical...
